A notation such as \(\operatorname{do}(W_t=w)\) is meaningful only if the candidate workspace is an endogenous variable in a structural causal model or if an intervention on underlying variables is shown to realize that value. Abstractly setting a projection coordinate need not correspond to any possible physical or computational manipulation.
