18. From the finite chain to the wider theory

The selected reasoning chain is coherent where its maps share an explicit domain, operational semantics, and evidence language. That does not imply that every proposed component of a machine-native reasoning system has already been joined to every other one. It is useful to state what remains separate, because those boundaries suggest the most precise next theorems.
