1 # Scope of this reader and the wider monograph

3 The latest documented prose-refined monograph has 1,155 pages, 97 chapters, and 13 parts. Its surviving refinement report records 614 preserved proof spans and 3,037 display blocks. That report is historical evidence about the larger book. It is not evidence that its full source has been recovered or rebuilt here.

5 The exact expected artifacts are `Machine_Native_Reasoning_Prose_Refined_Source.zip` and `Machine_Native_Reasoning_Prose_Refined_Monograph.pdf`. They were not found in the retained Library inventory, exact title search, cumulative formal source archives, or the separately audited GitHub branch trees and release assets. Earlier 74-page and 100-page editions survive, but neither is substituted for the latest monograph.

7 This release provides the authenticated selected reviewed-core reader and its formal companion. Completion of all 27 selected formal counterparts closes that selected-core correspondence task. It does not certify every specialist chapter of the expanded monograph or resolve its wider research questions.

9 To finish the latest full monograph, recover its exact source archive and complete PDF, authenticate their manifest, reconcile the selected-core status with the specialist evidence records, rebuild through the documented reproduction workflow, and repeat document, navigation, font, and full-book rendering review. Claims about learned or deployed reasoning systems require their own evidence and remain outside this finite mathematical core.

11 The latest prose report also leaves a specific editorial task: deeper paragraph-by-paragraph review within the long specialist treatments and reduction of repeated exposition between treatments, while retaining distinct assumptions and attribution. Its 334 edit records across 24 active files were not a full line-by-line review of every paragraph. The earlier 30-chapter outline has been overtaken by the 97-chapter edition and needs reconciliation with the recovered source.

13 Specialist evidence must remain separate. The prose report preserved an archived Large Signal Model correspondence of 39/87 and did not freshly run every specialist numerical suite or Lean development. Completing the 27-result Machine Theory core does not update that separate count or reclassify historical specialist receipts as fresh verification.
