PAPER IX EXISTING GRANT AND FONT NOTICE SUPPLEMENT REVIEW
21 October 2026

Existing original-material MIT and CC BY 4.0 grants remain unchanged. All five license-status pins match; all six adjacent PDF notices are identical. Root grant, fulltexts, inventory and existing third-party notices must be retained byte for byte. No original-material licensing decision remains.

All three current readers parse. Their 33 font resource names yield 72 program/resource records; 67 font programs have parsed metadata and 38 installed candidatefiles. Actual oldURW/Pazo/AMS/rsfs notice/version/fullname records match candidates. ModernURW CFF metadata match directly; embedded DejaVuSansMono2.37 matches the systemfont. FiveType3 records only establish name-level family matches, retained explicitly as font-origin evidence limits. No exact whole-font build identity is claimed for subsets.

Prepared 24 supplementary notice files are under notices/, with exact source paths/copy boundaries/hashes in PREPARED_NOTICE_FILES.json. OldURW and Pazo primaryheaders retain GPL plus explicit PostScript/PDF embedding exceptions. AMS/ComputerModern explicitly use SIL OFL 1.1. LatinModern uses GUST/LPPL-based terms; DejaVu retains BitstreamVera/public-domain changes; modernURW has AGPL font exception; STIX retains its conversion/copyright/OFL notice. Generic GPL2 text is supplied as a reference only; no unspecified GPL version is invented for a header.

RSFS primary installed Type1 notice retains TacoHoekwater1998 copyright. Primary CTAN READMEs separately authenticate RalphSmith original source use/distribute and modified-name/credit conditions, plus the converter public-domain dedication with originalMF conditions retained. These are labeled short upstream permission excerpts, not full byte-authenticated remote source files.

Of 105 baseline PDF paths, 104 nonempty PDFs parsed. One empty historical interrupted-repeat residue_permutations.pdf is explicitly excluded. Full historical font-origin/license certification is outside this bounded current-reader review. Four retained ZIP inventories have no standalone font binaries, as does the unpacked baseline. All such resources remain third-party and excluded from Komorebi grants.

No unresolved extraction/family-match finding remains. The five Type3 origin limits and historical scope remain explicit. Source/code/PDF/baseline files were unchanged. Add only a dated supplementary fontnotice directory/document, retaining existing pinned grant files.
